Though all proceeds from concerts go to the general budget, ticket sales alone are not enough to fund the continued operation of the San Luis Obispo Wind Orchestra. Since the orchestra is not affiliatied with any one community, it does not receive local community funding.

The orchestra gratefully acknowledges the support of individual donors, foundations, corporate and business sponsors -- especially The San Luis Obispo County Community Foundation, a public trust established to assist donors in building an enduring source of charitable funds to meet the changing needs and interests of the community.

The San Luis Obispo Wind Orchestra is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
